Upper endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography are the main tools for staging. In this review, the current status and possible future developments of perioperative chemotherapy or resectable GC are summarized. Advances in precision medicine and the role of immunotherapy have been the focus of GC treatment research. Since the onset of the fluorouracil, leucovorin, oxaliplatin, docetaxel (FLOT)4-AIO trial, perioperative FLOT administration has become the new standard of care for locally advanced gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancers. In Asia, Europe and Northern America adjuvant chemotherapy is administered after surgery after preoperative chemotherapy and surgery (perioperative chemotherapy) an in combination with radiotherapy (chemoradiotherapy), respectively. The administration modality and chemotherapy protocols differ between Eastern and Western countries. Adjuvant chemotherapy, chemoradiotherapy, and perioperative chemotherapy are different approaches that are proven to improve survival compared with surgery alone. Both EBV and MSI-H GC patients are highly responsive to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs).ĭespite the significant progress in the therapeutic strategies and surgical techniques for GC in the last decade, the number of patients experiencing relapse and dying after being diagnosed with localized GC remains rather high, even in the early stages. MSI-high (MSI-H) GC is considered a distinct subtype and has higher mutation rates with unique DNA methylation patterns. However, patients with the GS subtype are characterized by poor chemotherapy benefit and worse prognosis. The EBV subtype has an excellent prognosis, whereas patients with the CIN subtype achieve the greatest benefit following adjuvant chemotherapy. TCGA identifies a comprehensive set of genetic changes associated with GC and further classifies GC into four subtypes: Chromosomal instability (CIN) (50%), microsatellite instability (MSI) (22%), genomically stable (GS) (20%), and Epstein-Barr virus-positive (EBV) tumors (9%). Recently, molecular classification systems were published by the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Asian Cancer Research Group, providing a molecular subtyping structure, as well as a guide to targeted agents. The WHO classification defines five different subtypes, i.e., papillary, tubular, mucinous, poorly cohesive, and mixed adenocarcinoma. According to the Lauren classification, GC is categorized into two subtypes: Intestinal and diffuse. Gastric cancer (GC) includes histologically heterogeneous and microscopically distinct cell types and can be classified using various systems such as the Lauren and the World Health Organization (WHO) classifications.

On July 19, 2013, it was reported that the sets will soon be buried under encroaching sand dunes. Ksar Hadada, Ksar Medenine and Ksar Ouled Soltane were filmed for Mos Espa's Slave Quarters Row. The sets in Oung Jmel are still standing. The real-world locations of Mos Espa are in Tunisia. It remained a center of trade on the planet and a welcome rest stop for travelers seeking to trek into the deadly Dune Sea nearby. Since the departure of Jabba, the city gained a new reputation: as a respectable and law-abiding, bustling town. The Solos, C-3PO, and Chewbacca with the assistance of a Weequay, Grunts, searched through Mos Espa for the painting. It was stolen from the auction by Kitster Banai. It was sought by many bidders, in particular Commander Quenton on behalf of the Galactic Empire and Captain Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo on behalf of the New Republic. Īn auction was held in 8.5 ABY for the Alderaanian moss painting Killik Twilight. In about 1 ABY the town was invaded by Tusken Raiders led by the Tusken King, but they were soon driven out by a group of spacers. Jabba the Hutt left for more lucrative parts unknown.ĭuring the Galactic Civil War, Mos Espa was garrisoned by a large Imperial force that patrolled the city in an effort to crack down Rebel insurgents. Years later, when the Galactic Empire arrived on Tatooine, the podraces were outlawed, and the city lost its illicit reputation and allure. The deal went in Qui-Gon's favor, and Anakin came with him to Coruscant, marking a pivotal moment in galactic history. After finding a suitable one in Watto's junk dealership, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn made a deal with the Toydarian to exchange the parts and for freedom for his young slave boy Anakin. The town also boasted at least two local ghost stories: the spooky and mysterious Nobot and a strange ship left deserted on the outskirts that was believed to be haunted.Īround the Trade Federation blockade of Naboo, Padmé Amidala and her Jedi escorts arrived in Mos Espa seeking a new hyperdrive. During the reign of the Hutts, the population consisted mostly of slaves, slavers and poor settlers, not including the large number of spacers and smugglers who briefly stayed in the city before moving on to the next rock. It gained a deadly reputation for lethal podraces sponsored by the Hutts to encourage gambling. When the mining efforts failed, the dying settlement attracted the criminal Hutts, who took control and turned the city into a thriving yet dangerous spaceport. Like most Tatooine settlements, it began as a mining colony. At the time Mos Espa was the capital of Tatooine, and still is according to the records, but after podracing died, Mos Espa lost a lot of business and Mos Eisley picked up the slack." ― Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt, to a spacer " Mos Eisley really took off though after the podraces were banned. Jabba the Hutt may have had some sort of seasonal residence in the city. The podrace that set Anakin Skywalker free from slavery was held at Mos Espa. The other major activity in Mos Espa was gambling on the podraces held in the nearby Grand Arena. Locals who spoke Huttese did so with a distinct accent. The biggest retail business in Mos Espa seems to have been junk-dealing, and even small dealers like Watto the Toydarian seemed to rake in a substantial amount of money, albeit sometimes unscrupulously. Most residents either were involved in crime business with the Hutts or were poor shopkeepers and moisture farmers trying to eke out a living in the inhospitable desert. It consisted of the dome-roofed, adobe buildings found in cities across Tatooine, and was said to appear as a great, twisting snake, hunkered down to escape the heat. Mos Espa was an expansive spaceport and rested near the Dune Sea. The fact that you’re leaving it alone and not peeking at it means that all that flavor and moisture stays in the dish, so dry protein is never ever even a possibility. It cooks for a good long while, but the oven does all the work – the rice becomes tender in all that flavorful, creamy liquid and the pork chops basically braise in it so they’re nice and moist. A generous seasoning of the meat really helps things along here, and while regular old salt and pepper work fine, a seasoned pepper blend is extra nice.Īll that’s left to do is cover the dish tightly with foil and pop it into the oven. You’re just mixing the rice with those two soups, the onion packet, and some broth or water and then nestling the pork chops on top of that base. (And it doesn’t take any extra work on your part.) While the two varieties of canned soup transform the rice into a creamy and tender base, the onion mix adds more of a savory depth. baked pork chops baked cauliflower topped with Extensive recipes with. History Billiards in the 1620s was played with a port, a king pin, pockets, and maces.Īll cue sports are generally regarded to have evolved into indoor games from outdoor stick-and-ball lawn games, specifically those retroactively termed ground billiards, and as such to be related to the historical games jeu de mail and palle-malle, and modern trucco, croquet, and golf, and more distantly to the stickless bocce and bowls. Snooker, English billiards, and Russian pyramid, played on a large, six-pocket table (dimensions just under 12 ft by 6 ft), all of which are classified separately from pool based on distinct development histories, player culture, rules, and terminology.īilliards has a long history from its inception in the 15th century, with many mentions in the works of Shakespeare, including the line "let's to billiards" in Antony and Cleopatra (1606–07), and enthusiasts of the sport include Mozart, Louis XIV of France, Marie Antoinette, Immanuel Kant, Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, George Washington, French president Jules Grévy, Charles Dickens, George Armstrong Custer, Theodore Roosevelt, Lewis Carroll, W. In the next panels, you can configure scheduling and email notifications, to run the backup at specific days and times and to be always informed of the backup result and possible errors. This because the image backup will always appear as a complete backup, consisting mainly of the image file of the disk, therefore, even its copy in a further destination must be a copy of the whole file. In the picture below, let’s see how to configure, as an example, Amazon S3 as a destination:Īs you can easily see, when you add a further destination, the type of backup is set on “Create a full backup each time …” and cannot be modified. N.B: In order to avoid keeping duplicated folders containing the same image backup (in fact, Windows creates each time a folder named with a timestamp), you have to enable Synchronization. Finally, this option can also be used to keep multiple copies, simply adding a destination to the same folder in the “Destinations” panel and choosing the number of copies to keep. In this case, the whole backup process will be completed in two steps: first Iperius will create the drive image in the item destination, then the image backup is copied to other destinations, such as LTO tape drives, other computers in the network, NAS devices, Amazon S3 etc. However, you might want to copy the backup files to further destinations. When you configure a system image, it’s not mandatory to add additional destinations to the backup job (panel “Destinations”), because a destination is already included in the item. For example, when the destination is a NAS, usually it is necessary to specify a user account of the NAS (username and password) to access the network.Īdditional destinations and/or maintenance of multiple copies Looking at the picture below, we can choose to specify a network destination. You must specify the source drive, so that one you want to backup (generally C, the system disk) and the destination folder, that can be another disk drive or a shared folder in the network: See also: Drive Image Backup, P2V and Disk Cloning with Iperius (Iperius Drive Image with recovery drive creation and Iperius Recovery Environment®)įrom the program main window, create a new backup job:Ĭlick on the button circled by red in the picture below to configure the system image backup. The restore can be made even on dissimilar hardware. Iperius Backup allows to make incremental image backups (block-level backup) and, thanks to the standard format VHD/VHDX, makes possible to restore single files by mounting the file image. Your system will be completely reinstalled and be working like before the disaster. This backup type is very useful in case of system crashes, virus attacks or hardware failures because it allows not only to recover all of your files but also to be operational again in a few time. In fact, you don’t have to reinstall programs or reconfigure your work environment. The image backup is made automatically and without any service interruption or system reboot, therefore without interfering with the user work. Among its features, you have the full system image backup ( Drive Image), that allows to backup and restore the entire system in a few clicks. Iperius is a powerful and complete backup software for Windows. Examples of RGB and CMYK Tertiary Colors: Just check the color wheel between the primary and secondary colors. In these models, tertiary colors show up on the color wheel, so they’re easier to identify. This definition applies to mixing light (digital artists) and pigments (printing industry), which use the RGB and CMYK color models, respectively. Definition #2: An Equal Mixture of a Primary and Secondary Color However, this same term is used interchangeably to describe tertiary colors in the RGB and CMYK models. In this color model, each individual color between primaries and secondaries on the color wheel is known as intermediate color. Color diagram by Charles Hayter – See the tertiary colors on row 5? Note that the tertiary colors in this model are more desaturated, neutral colors, and are quite different from the ones you’ve probably learned in art class in elementary school. Nevertheless, they’re still important to know if you’re a painter and work with color mixing. This concept varies from the other two color models.īy this definition, you can’t find tertiary colors on the color wheel. This definition applies in painting, which uses the RYB color model (paint color). Definition #1: An Equal Mixture of Two Secondary Colors What definition applies to your case will depend on what color model you’re using. There are two definitions of tertiary colors, and therefore two different results for every color combination. Pssst: Color temperature is essential to create rich color schemes since every hue can be a warm color (or a cool color, for that matter). These are crucial to understanding before moving on to learning the tertiary colors. When mixing pigments, the secondary colors are red, green, and blue. In mixing light, they’re cyan, magenta, and yellow. In painting, the secondary colors are orange, purple, and green. Secondary colors consist of equal parts of two primary colors. Knowing these primary colors like the back of your hand is vital because starting with different primary colors affects what colors you can access and how. When mixing light, the primary colors are red, green, and blue. When mixing pigments, the primary colors are cyan, magenta, and yellow. In painting, these colors are red, yellow, and blue. They’re the building block of all hues of the color spectrum. These are the only colors that can’t be created by mixing other colors together, also known as pure colors. Here’s a quick primer to get you up to speed: Primary Colors To understand tertiary colors, first, we need to have a firm grasp of primary and secondary colors. In terms of color theory, tertiary colors are the ultimate level of complexity, giving you far more tools to play with and create eye-pleasing color schemes. This makes it easier to work with the full rainbow and find harmonious color combinations. They provide access to a wider range of colors, expanding your palette.Ĭolor theory is the reasoning we can use to talk about color and create guidelines for using it effectively. Tertiary colors open up a new dimension of color theory. Tertiary colors (in the RGB model) Color Theory In this post, we’ll explain how tertiary colors fit into the color wheel, provide examples of tertiary colors, and explain how they can take your designs to the next level. Depending on what color model you’re working with, they can behave and look very different. Tertiary colors are a complicated, but crucial part of the world of color. Here’s everything you need to know about tertiary colors. |
